Following the previous year’s success we are bringing CamperFest back for yet another year.
CamperFest has grown over time by not just being accessible to VW Campers but becoming a diverse event for everyone who enjoys camping, including: campervans, caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as the original VW campers.
CamperFest is located right in the heart of Chester, on the beautiful Chester Racecourse. Excellent! Where else can you camp in a city centre on Easter weekend? You can visit: our ever popular Chester Food, Drink & Lifestyle Festival, lovely local bars, bistros and restaurants, as well as take a short drive to some local family attractions such as: Chester Zoo, Crocky Trails and the Blue Planet Aquarium.
The ever popular Chester Food, Drink & Lifestyle Festival is ranked the third best payable (FREE to CamperFest Guests) Food & Drink Festival in the UK. The event runs alongside CamperFest, from 30th March to 1st April.
The sister event is situated right on your door step on the Chester Racecourse, because, everybody needs good neighbours, and especially those who provide delicious food and drink to see you through the Easter weekend.
At CamperFest we try to create the best experience possible and for this to happen we run a number of different activities and smaller events on site over the weekend.
This years activities include:
• Zoo themed welcome party – there will be face painting and competitions. Bring your best zoo themed fancy dress costume!
• Quiz night
• The perfect pitch competition – bring your bunting, flags, windmills and all your decorations to dress up your pitch.
• Leaving Party
• Giant Inflatables
• Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
• Daily Children’s Arts & Crafts
• Daily Sports Activities (weather dependant)
• On site food and drink festival

FAQ’s
Can I camp with my friends?
Yes, but the only way to guarantee this is for you all to arrive together. If you are a large group please book and request to be together and we will do our best to reserve adequate space.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we welcome friendly dogs on the CamperFest site; they must remain on a lead at all times. However, dogs are NOT permitted within the Chester Food, Drink & Lifestyle Festival. All fouling is to be picked up and disposed of accordingly.
What time can I access the CamperFest site?
Thursday- 5pm-11pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday- 7.30am-11pm
What time do I have to leave on Monday?
4pm at the latest.
